This crop is from the Gerias Minas region of Brazil and is highly rated in the Brazilian coffee grading system. Light roasts are mild in acidity with notes of hazelnut, cocoa, and the beginnings of mandarin orange. Medium roasts become more nutty as the fruited components move into the background and acidity is reduced. This is where the bean does its best.
